Rakes having relatively short, curved teeth and a handle, used for arranging and straightening the thatching material as it is laid on the roof or for removing the thatch (cut shafts of grass) after mowing. When used for roofing, the handle may be perpendicular to the rake or it may be attached on one end along the same plane as the rake.
