Named for the Baths of Zeuxippus in Constantinople (Turkey) where it was first identified in 1927, this sgraffito-decorated, lead-glazed pottery from the late 12th and early 13th centuries can be identified by its shiny pale green, yellow, or cream lead glaze and its white, thick slip, which covers most of the inside and the upper part of the outside.
