Nota de aplicación

Pigment prepared from jarosite mineral. Jarosite has been found on ancient Egyptian pottery, but this occurs in a context that makes it extremely unlikely to be an alteration product, as had been suggested previously. Previously not known as a historical pigment, jarosite has been identified as the yellow pigment in the murals of the temples of Karnak, Egypt.
