Definición
The magnesium salt of magnesium sulfite in sulfurous acid appearing as colorless crystals or white, crystalline powder. It oxidizes to sulfate on exposure to air and loses all its water at 200 degrees fahrenheit. It is used as an adsorbent and absorbent, as an agricultural chemical, in the manufacture of paper pulp, as a wastewater treatment, and etc.
