Definición
A luminous paint which reflects absorbed ultraviolet energy as visible light. Fluorescent paints appear to glow in daylight because they emit more than one hundred percent of visible incident radiation. They contain metal salts whose strongly fluorescing organic molecules absorb energy from light and give it back in the form of photons.
