Nota de aplicación

Beehives made of baskets placed open-end-down, in use for over 2,000 years in beekeeping. Early examples were made of wicker plastered with mud and dung; later examples were made of straw or coils of grass. Typically there is a single entrance at the bottom of the bee skep. There is no internal structure provided for the bees, as the colony produces its own honeycomb attached to the inside of the bee skep.
