Nota de aplicación

Order containing about 38,000 living species of predatory arthropods having two body segments, eight legs, no chewing mouth parts, no wings, and in many species possessing the ability to spinning webs, which are made of a thin, strong protein strand extruded from spinnerets (most commonly found on the end of the abdomen) and in which their prey is caught. They feed almost entirely on insects. In the context of art and other cultural objects, the presence of spiders in a storage area usually indicates that insects are also present. Spiders, however, do not pose any danger to artifacts themselves.
