Hand-propelled vehicles consisting of a vertical frame incorporating a handle, and a horizontal projecting edge, platform, or toe plate perpendicular or angled to the vertical frame, at or near its lower part. The projecting edge slides under loads for the purpose of lifting or moving. Distinguished from handcarts, which have four wheels mounted to a level platform.
