The compilation of works of art, crafts, natural history, science, etc., along with associated research, materials, ideas, texts, and other intellectual property gathered around a particular theme and intended for public display. For the public display of such works as an event, prefer "exhibitions (events)." For published catalogs documenting the exhibition and related texts, prefer "exhibition catalogs."
