Announcements of exhibitions in the form of printed matter, and most commonly formatted as a postcard to be mailed. These may also appear as small pamphlets, posters, or other more elaborate objects such as balloons. Often an image of exhibited material is included, as well as the exhibition title or artist's name, and information regarding the exhibition venue.
