Boards made of wood, but from flakes or chips of wood rather than from full lengths of lumber. Composition wood boards are usually classified by fiber size (largest to smallest): waferboard, oriented strandboard, flakeboard, particleboard, and fiberboard, which may be made of cellulose fibers other than wood.
