Species in the Sapotaceae family that grows up to 70 feet tall with dark brown outer bark, and pink inner. Inflorescences bear up to five flowers. Fruits are ellipsoid, up to 1 inch long. Named for the Italian naturalist Odoardo Beccari. Endemic to Borneo.
