electron energy loss spectroscopy
Definición
Electron energy loss spectroscopy measures the energy of scattered electrons reemitted from surfaces after bombardment by an electron beam, thus determining the distribution of energy loss. Provides data complementary to Auger electron spectroscopy which operates according to the same principle but uses a different process to produce the electrons.
