Tools, usually hand-held or hand-powered, having a sharp edge, used for punching out holes or designs in paper or other such materials. Punches are standard office supplies and used in papercrafts and leather crafts. For punches having a shaped tip at one end and struck by a hammer, designed to make an indentation rather than cutting out holes or shapes, use "punches (marking tools)."
